Circus Peanut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 to 14 circus peanut candies
    2 (3 oz.) boxes orange jello
    2 c. boiling water
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
    2 c. Cool Whip (16 oz.)
    1 c. diced celery
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Melt candy and gelatin in hot water.
    Cut candy into 3 or 4 pieces each before doing this to make it easier to melt it.
    Add pineapple juice and cold water to make 2 cups.
    Allow to partially set.
    Add pineapple, Cool Whip, celery, nuts and cherries.
    Return to refrigerator until firm.
    Serves 6 to 8.
