Cheese Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese
    3 whole eggs
    1/2 c. vinegar or lemon juice
    1 c. cracker crumbs
    1 large can pimentos
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Grind cheese and crackers in a food chopper.
    Add pimentos. Beat eggs, slightly.
    Add salt, pepper, sugar, milk and vinegar to egg mixture.
    Cook in a double-boiler until light in color and thickened.
    Pour over cheese, pimento and crackers.
    Pour mixture into oiled vegetable ring mold, dusted lightly with fine cracker crumbs.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cool slightly before removing from mold.
    Turn out on a large platter and serve with cream cheese.
