Baked Corn Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (17 oz.) can whole corn, drained
    1 (16 1/2 oz.) can cream-style corn
    1 (4 oz.) can green chillies
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (2.8 oz.) can French fried onions, divided
Preparation
    In a large bowl, beat together butter and cream cheese.
    Stir in the kernel corn, cream-style corn, chillies and onion; mix well.
    (Tastes better if onions are sauteed.) Pour into a greased 8-inch square baking dish.
