Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    3/4 c. white or brown Karo
    1/4 c. water
    2 c. raw peanuts or pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Bring the sugar, Karo and water to a boil.
    Add the raw peanuts or pecans.
    Cook until 300\u00b0.
    Remove.
    Add the vanilla and baking soda quickly.
    Pour onto greased cookie sheet (with margarine).
    Cool; break apart.
