New Orleans Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf day old French bread
    1 qt. milk
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. half and half cream
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. white raisins
Preparation
    Cube and soak bread in milk and half and half.
    Crush with hands until well mixed.
    Then add eggs, sugar, vanilla and raisins and stir well.
    Pour melted margarine in bottom of thick baking pan and bake at 350\u00b0 until firm.
    Let cool.
    Cube to serve and put into individual serving dishes.
    Serve with hot Rum or Whiskey Sauce.
