Chasen'S Chili(Serves 4 Quarts) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. pinto beans
    5 c. canned tomatoes
    1 lb. green peppers, chopped coarsely
    1/4 Tbsp. oil
    1 1/2 lb. onions, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 c. parsley, minced
    1/2 c. butter
    2 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. ground lean pork
    1/3 c. chili powder
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. cumin seed
    1 1/2 tsp. Accent
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight in enough water to cover by 2 inches. Next day, pour beans and liquid into a large kettle; cover and simmer until tender, 1 to 2 hours.
    Add tomatoes and simmer 5 minutes longer.
