Velvety Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slightly beaten eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. scalded milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
Preparation

Mix eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla; slowly add hot milk.
Pour into unbaked shell.
Dash top with nutmeg.
Bate at 475\u00b0 for 5 minutes and then at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until tester inserted in center of custard comes out clean.
Very, very good!
This bakes in 15 minutes and the crust isn't soaked.
