Glazed Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 c. apples, pared and chopped
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream margarine, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
    Add milk, apples and nuts to creamed mixture.
    Mix flour, cinnamon and baking powder and stir only until mixture is well dampened.
    Bake in greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cool for 10 minutes in pan; turn out on wax paper and spread with glaze.
