Easy Cheesy Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 tubes crescent rolls
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla.
Set aside. Pat 1 tube of crescent roll onto cookie sheet.
Spread on cheese mixture.
Top with remaining tube.
Beat egg whites until frothy. Spread on top. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Reduce oven to 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes longer.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cooled.
