Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. Brookshire Brothers pan sausage (mild or hot)
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped bell pepper
1 c. chopped onion
1 can mushroom soup
1 can chicken and rice soup
1 c. raw rice
1/2 c. water
grated cheese
slivered almonds
Preparation

Brown sausage. Saut celery, bell pepper and onion in sausage drippings. Stir sausage and vegetables together. Add soups, rice and water. Place in casserole and bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes, covered. Remove from oven and cover with cheese (2 cups) and almond slivers. Return to oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
