Barbecue Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cabbage, shredded (about 10 c.)
    2 large green peppers
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, drained or fresh tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. sweet pickles, drained and chopped
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Combine cabbage, green peppers, tomatoes, pickles and onions. Mix together sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper.
    Add to cabbage mixture and mix well.
    Chill until ready to serve.
    Better if chilled for several hours before serving.
