Hot Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 6 chicken breasts, cooked and diced
3 hard-boiled eggs, diced
2 c. celery, diced fine or less
1 can water chestnuts (8 oz.), sliced and drained
1 can mushrooms (4 oz.)
2 Tbsp. minced onion
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. slivered almonds
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together with 1/2 can cream of chicken soup, 1/2 cup mayonnaise and 1 cup sour cream.
Turn into casserole and top with 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Sprinkle can of French fried onion rings on top.
Bake 15 minutes more.
Serve with rice.
Freezes well.
