Red Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. water
1 small head red cabbage (2 lb.), sliced fine (5 c., firmly packed)
3 tart apples, cored, peeled and cut in eighths
1/4 c. each: brown sugar and vinegar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. each: allspice and cloves
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Cook until tender all ingredients.
Add butter and serve hot.
