Ruby Red Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. maple syrup
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. caraway seed
    1 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 head red cabbage
    1 large onion, diced
Preparation
    Combine syrup, vinegar, water, caraway seed, thyme and pepper; simmer for 10 to 15 minutes in a medium size pot.
    Add cabbage that's sliced as cole slaw and the onion.
    Simmer everything for another 15 minutes or until desired texture.
    Serve warm or cold.
