Economical Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. oleo
2 sq. melted chocolate
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder, sifted with flour
1 c. flour
1/2 to 3/4 c. nuts

Preparation

Mix in order given.
Bake in a shallow pan, 7 x 11-inch or so in moderate oven.
Cut into squares.
