Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
    1 c. celery, chopped fine
    1 c. green bell pepper, chopped fine
    1 c. onion, chopped fine
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
    2 c. low-fat mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    10 slices bacon fried crisp and crumbled (can use turkey bacon)
    2 c. low-fat Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    In a salad bowl or large oblong casserole dish, layer all the ingredients in the order in which they are listed.
    Do not stir. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
