Theresa Shea'S Cherry Winks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. margarine or butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. finely cut dates
    1/3 c. finely chopped candied red cherries
    2 2/3 c. corn flakes, crushed to measure 1 1/3 c.
    15 red cherries, cut into quarters (candied cherries)
Preparation
    Stir together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
    In large bowl, beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Stir in milk and vanilla.
    Add flour mixture and mix until well combined.
    Stir in nuts, dates and chopped candied cherries.
