Sausage Strata - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk sausage
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 c. milk
    3/4 tsp. salt
    6 slices white bread
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Cook bulk sausage over medium heat until done.
    Pour out on paper towel and blot to remove grease.
    Tear 6 slices white bread (stale is fine) into cubes and place in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Sprinkle the bread with the cooked sausage. Sprinkle the sausage with 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese.
    Beat together eggs, milk, dry mustard and salt.
    Pour this over sausage mixture.
    Cover tightly and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight, if desired.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
