Nettie Brinkley'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. regular flour
    3 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter
    1/3 c. Wesson oil
    1 c. milk
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. lemon or vanilla
Preparation
    Cream
    butter, oil and sugar.
    Stir in eggs.
    Add flour and milk, alternating.\tAdd flavoring last.
    Grease and flour pan. Place
    in
    cold oven.
    Set oven to 300\u00b0.
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours. Don't open door during baking.
