Congealed Lime Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 pkg. lime Jell-O
    1 small carton cottage cheese
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 pkg. unflavored gelatin
    1/4 c. cold water
    1/2 c. ginger ale
    1/2 pt. whipped whipping cream
Preparation
    Empty small can of crushed pineapple into saucepan.
    Bring to boil and boil for 3 minutes.
    Add lime Jell-O and boil 2 minutes more.
    Cool.
    Add cottage cheese, chopped nuts, unflavored gelatin in cold water, dissolved over hot water.
    Add ginger ale to gelatin mixture and combine with pineapple mixture.
    Blend in 1/2 pint whipped whipping cream.
