French Buttercream Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. soft margarine
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 beaten egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    In large bowl, combine ingredients on low speed of mixer about 1 minute.
    Blend well.
    Chill dough about 15 to 20 minutes before shaping into 3/4-inch balls.
    Place on greased cookie sheets. Flatten with fork and bake at 350\u00b0 for 5 to 8 minutes.
    This is a soft light cookie.
