French Breakfast Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 15 muffin cups.
Mix thoroughly shortening, 1/2 cup sugar and egg.
Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
Alternate with milk.
Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
