Apple Yam Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lg. yams or sweet potatoes
    2 lg. Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced thick
    1 c. apple juice
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped coarsely
Preparation
    Boil potatoes about 15 minutes or until almost tender.
    Peel and slice 1/4 inch thick.
    Use 2 quart casserole.
    Gently toss apples and potatoes together.
    Stir apple juice and cornstarch, add sugar and lemon juice.
    Pour over potatoes and apples and dot with margarine.
    Cover and bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Uncover and stir in nuts.
    Cook an additional 10 minutes.
