Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 small can cream
    1 stick margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, margarine, cream and flavoring.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Let boil hard for about 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat, stirring constantly until cool.
    Spread on cake when cool.
