Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. flour
    2 c. (1 bottle) Karo pancake syrup
    2 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    2 tsp. almond extract
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    4 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs, flour, salt, vanilla, almond extract and syrup.
    Pour into 3 unbaked pie shells.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until filling is firm.
    Makes 3 pies.
