Glazed Chicken Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. converted rice
    2 c. boiling water
    3 scallions, chopped
    1 (16 oz.) can whole berry cranberry sauce
    1 (8 oz.) bottle French dressing
    1 (1.2 oz.) envelope dry onion soup mix
    6 bone-in chicken breast halves, skinned
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, combine rice, boiling water and scallions. Mix well.
