Seafood Batter Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. cold water
    1 1/2 lb. fish or shrimp
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients and mix well. Add water and mix again. Dip fish or shrimp into batter. Drain off excess.
    Fry in deep hot oil at 375\u00b0 for 3 to 4 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Makes 4 servings.
