Hickory Nut Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar (white)
1 c. white or dark syrup
3 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. hickory nuts, chopped
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add syrup, unbeaten eggs, salt, milk and vanilla.
Beat together well.
Add nuts.
Pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
