Grandma Fodroczi'S Yellow Squash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 small yellow squash, cut in bite size pieces
1 medium onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
salt and pepper to taste
1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
Preparation

Add 1 teaspoon salt to 1 1/2 cups water and boil in medium pot.
Add squash, onion and garlic.
Boil for 35 to 40 minutes (or until soft).
Drain water.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes.
Let cool.
Add 1 cup sour cream.
Warm up to serve.
Serves approximately 4.
