Chicken Hot Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. diced chicken
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    6 oz. cooked noodles
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
    chopped pimento
Preparation
    Melt cheese in double boiler with soup and milk.
    Put all other ingredients together with cheese mixture.
    Sprinkle top with buttered bread crumbs and slivered almonds.
