Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

6 to 8 medium apples
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. butter/margarine, softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. flour
1 c. rolled oats
Preparation

Butter casserole dish.
Peel and core 6 to 8 medium apples. Cut in 1/2-inch slices to make 4 cups.
