Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rounded cooked mashed sweet potatoes
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 c. self-rising flour
    2/3 c. shortening
    1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix well potatoes, sugar and vanilla.
    Sift flour.
    Mix in shortening and potatoes.
    Gradually stir in milk (try to handle dough as little as possible).
    Roll onto a floured surface.
    Cut into biscuits.
    Makes about 25 biscuits.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for about 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Serves 25.
