Cream Of Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can tomatoes
    2 slices onion
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan.
    Simmer 10 minutes; sieve.
    Make a white sauce of butter, flour and milk. Slowly add hot tomato mixture, stirring constantly.
    Serve at once.
    Serves 6.
