Date Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. white sugar
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped dates
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Dissolve brown sugar, water and butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine white sugar, flour, salt, baking powder, dates, milk and vanilla.
    Pour over mixture in pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
