Linguine With Clam Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. linguine or spaghetti
1/3 c. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 Tbsp. parsley
1 1/2 c. drained and minced clams (2 doz. fresh or 2 cans)
1 c. clam juice (liquid from clams, combined with bottled clam juice)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Heat oil in heavy saucepan and add garlic and parsley; cook over medium heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Add clam juice, clams, salt and pepper and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add butter.
Stir until butter is melted. Serve at once over hot, cooked pasta.
Especially delicious when served with garlic bread!
