Mud Hens - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. granulated sugar
1/4 lb. butter
3 eggs, separated
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Cream butter and granulated sugar.
Add 3 egg yolks and 1 egg white.
Blend.
Add flour and vanilla.
Grease and flour pan. Roll out dough.
Cream brown sugar and 2 egg whites; spread on dough.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
