Carrie'S Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. hot water
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 Tbsp. salt
    7 c. plain flour, divided
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in hot water.
    Stir until mixed.
    Add next 3 ingredients to yeast mixture.
    Add 4 cups flour.
    This may be mixed by hand or mixer.
    Add 2 eggs.
    Add up to 3 more cups of flour to mixture.
    Let rise 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Roll the dough out and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Fold over each in half and brush with melted butter.
    Let rise again 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
