Elizabeth Garner'S Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cabbage, shredded
    1 large bell pepper, sliced
    1 large onion, sliced thin
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    3/4 c. oil
    1 c. sugar or 17 pkg. Equal
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    In large container, layer cabbage, pepper and onion.
    Sprinkle sugar over this (do not mix).
    Bring other ingredients to a boil. Pour over cabbage (do not mix).
    Cover and refrigerate.
    When ready to serve, mix well.
    Will keep three weeks in refrigerator.
