Apricot Spice Bars(Makes 24 Bars) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. softened butter (oleo)
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg (can use Egg Beaters)
1 c. undiluted evaporated milk
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped dried apricots
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. flaked coconut
Preparation

Mix butter and brown sugar in large mixing bowl.
Add 1 egg, evaporated milk, lemon juice and vanilla.
Mix until blended.
Sift flour, soda and cinnamon together.
Add to creamed mixture.
Beat until blended.
Stir in apricots, nuts and coconut.
Spread in buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 25 to 35 minutes or until done.
Cool.
