Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. bread cubes
2 c. milk
3 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
dash of salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Place cubes in buttered 1-quart baking dish.
Scald milk with buttered sugar.
Beat eggs slightly.
Add salt.
Stir in warm milk and vanilla.
Pour over bread cubes.
Set baking dish in pan containing warm water up to level of pudding. Bake 1 hour or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
