Apricot Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. apricot gelatin
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip, thawed
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat pineapple and juice with sugar and water.
    Stir in gelatin to dissolve.
    Chill until partially congealed.
    Fold in cream cheese, then nuts, then Cool Whip.
    Refrigerate until well set.
    Serve.
