White Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pint buttermilk
    1 cup white cornmeal
    1/2 cup flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix and sift all dry ingredients together; pour in buttermilk and stir thoroughly; then add egg. Beat well. Pour into hot greased pan and bake in a hot over, 450 degrees for 20 minutes.
