Microwave Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 cans (13 3/4 oz.) red kidney beans, undrained
    3 Tbsp. chili powder or to taste (2 to 4 Tbsp.)
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Place ground meat in 3-quart casserole.
    Cook by microwave on High 5 to 7 minutes.
    Stir after 3 minutes of cooking.
    Remove meat from microwave and set aside.
    In small casserole or 2-cup glass measure, combine onion, garlic and green pepper with 2 tablespoons margarine.
    Cover and microwave on High 3 to 4 minutes.
    Add cooked veggies to heat.
    Stir in undrained kidney beans, chili powder and salt.
    Cover container.
    Place in microwave on High 8 to 10 minutes.
    Reduce power to Medium and continue cooking 10 to 12 minutes.
    Serves 12.
