English Hot Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. vinegar
4 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 small head cabbage, shredded
Preparation

Shred cabbage and set aside.
Mix remaining ingredients and heat the mixture to boiling point.
Pour over shredded cabbage and toss quickly.
Put a tight lid on pot (to hold heat) and keep warm until served.
Serve within 10 minutes after preparing.
