Chinese Vegetables With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown rice
    2 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 c. carrots, sliced
    1 c. snow peas
    1 c. cauliflower, sliced
    1/2 c. green onion
    2 tsp. chicken seasoning
    1 c. cold water
    2 tsp. cornstarch in cold water
    pinch of garlic powder
    1 c. whole almonds
Preparation
    Bring water with salt to boil and cook rice about 45 minutes on low heat.
    Fry carrots and peas for 1 to 2 minutes, then add cauliflower and onion.
    Cook 1 more minute.
    Mix chicken seasoning and cornstarch in the cold water.
    Pour into frypan with vegetables.
    Add the almonds and pour over cooked rice.
