My Grandmother'S Real Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. margarine, softened
    3 1/3 c. sugar
    4 c. sifted plain flour
    10 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the margarine at number 7 speed on mixer.
    Add sugar gradually while continuing to cream mixture.
    Add one egg at a time, beating for 2 minutes after each addition.
    Reduce speed to number 4 and add flour gradually, scraping sides with a rubber spatula.
    Add vanilla and beat at number 7 for 1 minute.
    Pour batter into a large tube pan which has been greased and floured. Bake in a 300\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
    Cool thoroughly before removing from pan.
