Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. bag orange slices cut small
1 pt. pitted dates chopped
2 c. pecans chopped
1 3 1/4 oz. can coconut flakes
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Sift together flour and salt, set aside.
Combine together next four ingredients and 1/2 c. of flour mixture.\tIn a mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar and eggs; adding one at a time. Add soda and buttermilk, mix well.\tThen add flour and fruit mixture alternating until it is blended.
Pour batter into a 10 inch tube pan; bake at 300\u00b0 for two hours or more.
