Homemade Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. red kidney beans (uncooked)
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion
    1 bell pepper (any color)
    1 garlic clove
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    1 (7 3/4 oz.) can El Pato Mexican tomato sauce
    1 (29 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
Preparation
    Cook kidney beans in 2 quarts of water and 1 teaspoon salt until beans are soft (approximately 6 hours).
    Cook ground beef with onion; season with salt and pepper.
    Add bell pepper, garlic clove, kidney beans (undrained), chili powder, tomato sauces and whole tomatoes.
