My Favorite Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 c. milk
3 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, beating well after each addition.
Add milk and flour that has been sifted with salt alternately beginning and ending with flour.
Add flavoring.
Bake in 10-inch tube cake pan for 1 hour and 25 minutes at 325\u00b0.
Makes 25 servings.
