Never-Fail Devil Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
1 c. cocoa
1 c. shortening (Crisco)
3 c. flour
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sugar
1 c. hot water
Preparation

Place all ingredients in bowl in order given; do not mix. After all ingredients have been added, beat well.
Place in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
